The Scott Centenary and the Sledge Pull is a unique occasion and a one off opportunity to create valuable opportunities for young people. 

We will be sending a positive message about challenge, adventure, travel, exploration, our history and heritage and environmental science to all parts of the country. 

We expect to be able to have a significant positive impact on a great many young lives. 

We trust that the national pride associated with Scott's historic story will encourage you and many others to support polar history and heritage, and the personal development of some of our young people by taking this unusual and special opportunity.

CREATE OPPORTUNITY WHERE IT DOES NOT NORMALLY EXIST

Above all the sledge pull will be be creating opportunities for young people to challenge and develop themselves. 

The sledge pull will reach into communities and areas where the opportunities it creates are highly valued and rare, and but for this event may not have existed at all. 

This is the purpose of the adventure funds raised by each group.
