A selection of those taking part
Budehaven Community School, Bude, North Devon
“ Budehaven are really excited about being a part of the Scott Centenary Sledge Pull. The potential to impact on so many students across the curriculum will range from inter-form competitions to Ten Tors/Duke of Edinburgh training, BTec sport modules, cross curricular links and even after school elite academy training. The Camel Trail sledge pull event will be the finale, providing the opportunity to compete against other schools at a venue close to home. The sledges are fun, lightweight, safe to use and will bring yet another new activity for the students to impact on their health and fitness levels, as well as the opportunity to fundraise for the Research Institute, the school and our chosen charities.”
